ABOUT THE EVENT
Geography is more than just a backdrop; in a thriller, the setting is a silent accomplice. In this intensive three-hour workshop, Aemon teaches aspiring writers how to use environmental tension to drive narrative stakes. Using the rugged, fog-drenched coast of Maine as a case study, you will learn to map out "Atmospheric Anchors" that ground your readers in a sense of dread and wonder. The session includes a live critique of three pre-selected opening chapters from workshop participants. All attendees will receive a signed "Blackwood Methodology" workbook to help structure their own psychological thrillers.
