ABOUT THE EVENT
Set against the backdrop of one of the world's most gothic cities, this evening talk explores the intersection of stone and story. Aemon will discuss how the imposing architecture of Edinburgh served as the primary visual reference for the crumbling estates in Echoes of Marble. The discussion will touch upon the concept of "Haunted Spaces"—how buildings retain the memories of the crimes committed within them. Following the moderated talk, there will be an audience Q&A focused on the psychological toll of investigative writing. A limited number of festival-exclusive hardcovers will be available for purchase at the venue bookstore.
